Through the years at the Flying Monkey Show, we have seen some pretty cool acts from the credit union and bankning community. We have found amazing singers, dancers, musicians, rappers and even magicians. This year, besides the random contests we will have throughout the night, we are also hosting our version of America's got Talent! Can you sing, dance, lip sync, play an instrument, light yourself on fire? (Sorry, I just checked with facility management, and they have nixed the lighting yourself on fire.) If you think you are entertaining, we want you on stage! Best of all, the winner takes home $1000 cash!
Now, ANYONE can compete and more importantly, you don't have to do it alone. Want to sing with a friend or even a few friends? We are good with that. Have a dance routine with a group? Cool!, In a band? Bring em on stage! We also have access to whatever music you might need, just let us know! We know everyone can be a star, now is your chance to show us what you got!
Remember, this is all about having fun! Imagine being on stage, Tom Arnold at your side with everyone cheering you on! Here are the rules:
Anyone can participate
You are welcome to perform alone or as a group
Whatever music you need, just let us know and we will have it ready to play when you're on stage
If you are singing or lip syncing, you need to know the words to the song. There is no monitor showing you the words.
You can bring props, but they must be items that are soft and/or can in no way cause injury to yourself or the others
To win, you must be at the event when the winner is announced between 10:45 and 11:30pm
How does judging work?
Judging will be based on the opinion of Tom Arnold as well as input from the crowd
How fun, amazing and entertaining your act is
As usual, the most important thing is, how entertaining were you? Own the crowd, win the cash!
